Walk along a transect line and record pest animal sign at regular intervals (blocks).

• Standard block spacing is 10 meters (16 blocks = 160m transect)
• At each block, look for teeth marks and faecal pellets within 1m radius
• Record all pest sign types observed at each block
• Teeth marks: look on leaves, twigs, bark, and fallen vegetation
• Faecal pellets: look on ground, logs, and rocks
